One more payment method - PayPal
News •Apr 23, 2021
PayPal partnered with DECTA, the provider of end-to-end services for payment processing, acquiring and card issuing.
DECTA’s payment solution now allows merchants to accept payments for their goods and services via PayPal without any additional fees besides standard onboarding fee.
PayPal is not only a fast way to send and receive online payments, it is also extremely secure. It doesn’t share the customer's financial information with the merchant, as the payment is made only with the client's email address and password. Buyers also benefit from using PayPal thanks to the Buyers Protection program, that covers situations like receiving a wrong or damaged item.
Being a well-known and widely used payment option, PayPal adds trustworthiness to the merchants, providing it to their clients, who may be reluctant to leave credit card information at the website, they are using for the first time.
At the same time, PayPal Seller Protection policy preserves merchants’ transactions from chargebacks, reversals, and their associated fees.
"We are glad to provide an additional payment method to our clients. PayPal is a worldwide organization that provides safe and protected payments. Having an additional payment method, widens the choices of checkout for the customer, thus, may increase the conversion rate" - says Santa Kirsbauma, Board Member, Product Offering at DECTA"
The PayPal payment option is available within the same API, used for DECTA Payment Gateway. Merchants are able to accept payments from more than 300 million PayPal active users in over 100 currencies. To integrate the PayPal payment method, clients must contact DECTA account manager or for new inquiries, please contact via email@example.com.
